HarkontheHerald 2

This deck is a warrior swarm deck built to maximise use of Ingold’s card draw. I tried to keep it thematic to the allies coming to aid Gondor in the siege of Minas Tirith. This deck could be better but I wanted to keep the theme. The heroes quest and the allies fight. Increase threat with Ingold unless you’re over 40. Use Imrahil’s as an emergency button or if you need extra card draw early. Use Hirgon’s ability every turn to get your board state going. Ideally 3 allies are put into play and 3 cards are drawn thanks to Ingold but 2 or even 1 card in the late game is fine as long as you got allies for Hirgon out. Don’t feel like you have to draw if you can’t afford it or risk the threat increase, the leadership cards are very important for questing. Imrahil fills the gaps in your boardstate, questing attacking or defending as needed.

Raiment of war goes on gondorian spearmen and defender of the ramas (could be cut but I find it fun).

Onward into battle goes on Imrahil, then Ingold. Gondorian shield goes on Imrahil then ingold. Elessar and chieftain of the north (you guessed it), Imrahil so he can get anduril. These are mainly here for fun factor.

Steward of Gondor goes on Ingold so late game you don’t have to increase your threat and pay for your questing cards. Celebrian stone goes on Hirgon along with red arrow.

Mulligan for steward of Gondor and some questing allies, ideally Westfold lancer for his reduction from Hirgon.

The sideboard has some off theme allies to help with questing / good stuff allies that fit well. The pillars of the king I found unnecessary due to Ingolds threat increase but if you want you can turn one draw 4 cards from it

Only tested against passage through Mirkwood but it worked well. Very fun deck to use, lots of decisions to make. RCO with Alep friendly as well.
