This deck was built with the purpose of beating the entire base campaign of The Lord of the Rings LCG (both the Core Set Campaign and the Dark of Mirkwood expansion). For sure, this deck can also beat many other scenarios. It is very versatile and I never needed to use the sideboard between scenarios.

The big secret of this deck during games is PATIENCE — it does not win fast, it controls the game slowly and eventually wins, often having to draw almost all the cards in the deck. The key is to control threat, enemies, and progress through quests slowly. Except for Dol Guldur, I very rarely lost with this deck.

To use blue cards , it is necessary to play Vilya and Celebrían's Stone

Beorn is essential to get into play during Dol Guldur, is very good card to defeat big monsters. You can play him using Stand and Fight or by paying his cost using Elrond normal ability. He can also be used with Sneak Attack.

The deck relies heavily on Gandalf for many things: questing, lowering threat, or even killing enemies. Don’t be afraid to use him with Sneak Attack or Stand and Fight. I rarely used Gandalf to draw cards.

The key to this deck is not to rush; it’s about taking control and solving everything calmly.

Quests will mostly be completed by Aragorn with Celebrían's Stone and Protector of Lórien. Steward of Gondor will strongly support this hero or Elrond to get Gondor allies into play.

Dol Guldur was only beaten when starting heroes with 1 resource (easy mode rule), but I kept all base scenario cards, including gold/orange-bordered ones.

Any questions, just ask! Have fun!
