This deck was created for Into Ithilian. The idea behind it was to get strong Willpower and Attack heroes to be filled in by defensive allies later hoping beyond hope that seige questing never happens.
General strategy is to get an ally with 2 attack to the table right away to help clear the opening location. Light of Valinor is great to have and getting Jubayr or an Erebor Guard down for defense is another must have. Traditional questing allies are used for stages 3 and 4.
If Jubayr can block shadows then you are well on your way.
Hero selection was based on stats and threat only. If additional perks work out, great.
This deck has no healing and virtually no card draw. My thought process was I wanted something that could quest and stay under the radar and if someone needs healed they get put out to pasture. No time to dawdle.
Fun deck. Surprised it beat the scenario and I don't know if I tempt fate and play it again.
Sideboard includes Éowyn and Arwen Undómiel for the Sailors of Lune for more traditional questing.
