My second published deck, I really want to make Boromir Leadership work. The Gondor allies are nice and cheap but it's tricky getting the card draw to summon them, which is where Erestor comes into play. The extra resources from Doomed+orthanc and cost reduction from Grima helps to get the troops rolling each round they are drawn.
Any ideas on how to improve it are welcome!

Mar 19, 2019Probably you are right and it might be still in the letter of the mechanics, but to me it seems a bit outside the spirit of the rules. I personally would rather play some Gaining Strength in this context instead of a (for me) wacky combo with Love of Tales. Also I don't understand how the deck will play the lone Will of the West without the Spirit icon, perhaps it's missing a Song of Travel |
Mar 19, 2019To improve a deck it is generally a good advice to look at Seastan's deck :D ringsdb.com |
Mar 19, 2019captains wisdom, only playable with boromir, but its worth i think |
Mar 21, 2019Definitely missed song of travel when posting this, I usually build the decks with the cards and add them to the builder here later so my fault for missing that. And you can also use it to search the top 10 cards of your deck for a Valour card, as a way to shuffle your deck, they will definitely change your deck's game state. Captain's wisdom is also awesome same as Gaining strength but I don't have either of those cards yet, so perhaps down the road. |
Since you don't have any event with Valour I don't think you can play Hope Rekindled since it will not modify the game state, so no free resource generation for Love of Tales
