My version of a Silvan deck using Celeborn, Galadriel and Thranduil. I've been wanting to try to build one for a while because there's no trait quite like Silvan for just making you feel clever - there are so many more decisions to make about which allies to put in and bounce out at the right time.

One of the tensions with Silvans is Voltron heroes vs bouncing allies. I've tried to go for a balance here with some combat-related attachments for heroes as well as the standard horde of bouncing allies.

As well as his ability, Thranduil makes a great defender, especially with a couple of Dúnedain Warning and Quicker Than Sight to deal with shadows. The auto-heals of the Silvan Tracker are there to backstop him. Celeborn gets the Light of Valinor and Mirkwood Long-knife - with a single knife, he's got 4 and 3. I'm tempted to include Fair and Perilous as well but card slots are tight and that's what the Tactics allies are for, after all. Nenya is obviously present to let Galadriel do things and to let you play The Tree People.

Hithlain helps with locations, particularly in multiplayer where location lock can be a swine. I'm torn whether to put The Elvenking on Celeborn or Thranduil - it probably depends on how much defending you need to do. With Galadhon Archer, Greenwood Archer, Marksman of Lórien and Orophin you should have the firepower to take down a decent number of enemies, and all of them can range across the table. Most of them will be put into play during the combat phase with Thranduil's ability.

For the other allies, I love the Galadhrim Weaver for recurring clutch cards. In a recent game with a Noldor discard deck, I managed to play A Test of Will five times, despite never being able to hold it for more than a round. In the same vein, being able to put A Test of Will back into your deck after using it, or Feigned Voices, or The Tree People depending on what you need, is brilliant.

Greenwood Archer, as well as being a great ranged attacker, lets you ready a hero for a second use. If you're playing him in the planning phase, it lets you use Galadriel's draw and threat-drop ability before using her to "quest". If you're playing him in the combat phase via Thranduil's ability, you can ready either Celeborn or Thranduil depending on what you need. Or ready someone else's hero. (But why? Don't they have their own cards for that? They should, but your deck is just better.)

Galion lets you do ridiculous Silvan things for free. FOR FREE!!! Madness. There's no better target for The Tree People, Feigned Voices, Quicker Than Sight or The Elvenking.

If anyone has any wisdom to share to help tweak the deck, particularly around the attachments, I'd love to hear it. 16 seems a bit much for a Silvan deck, but I'd like the heroes to be useful beyond their passive abilities and it's very easy to overlook them in Silvan decks thanks to the ridiculous number of things that the allies can do.

I don't normally go Silvan, due to limited card pool, but no Host of Galadhrim? Even if you don't have a lot of "Enters play" effects it's still healing, sorta.

Very solid deck! Would add at least one Ancestral Armor, and potentially a Rumil Rúmil. Would definitely remove Hithlain and Dúnedain Warning for both of those and to @Trucks point, would add at least one Host of Galadhrim. My biggest concern with this deck is resource generation to support continuation pulling silvans in and out of play.

Steward of Gondor is the obviously fix, but I get the desire to stay thematic. If you were to include I would pull down all 3 Daeron's Runes add 2 Stewards and then add 1 Protector of Lórien so you can get some use out of those extra copies of the uniques.

Hope this helps!

I like the idea of it but I find the cost a bit prohibitive even though it's Neutral. I don't tend to have too many spare resources. The other thing is that this deck tends to bounce the allies back out of play a lot through The Elvenking and the bouncy events, so there's never all that many allies left in play. Given how many one-HP allies there are, the main one who's going to need healing is Thranduil and keeping the Silvan Trackers in takes care of this. I might sideboard it anyway, though. It's worth having a couple of other things in case some villain is running Glorfindel and wants Light of Valinor for themselves.

I'm trying to avoid stealing Steward of Gondor too often. I could live without Daeron's Runes because that's very dependent on Nenya and I should be able to get a decent amount of use out of Galadriel anyway. I could also switch it for Valiant Sacrifice or We Are Not Idle for draw purposes. They're already on the sideboard.

I could add Elf Guide or Captain's Wisdom for a bit of resource acceleration.

I like Rúmil but the issue is whether or not many of the Ranged allies are going to stay in play long enough for the initial punch to stack up enough. Even with O Lórien!, that's a full turn's resources. I haven't tried Ancestral Armor yet. I might try having it and Host of Galadhrim out on the table and see if I can ever manage to play it.

No Mirror of Galadriel? My philosophy is to include 3 of it in all my Galadriel decks and run less of other uniques (here you probably cut one Nenya, one Light of Valinor and maybe an event). While it is kinda risky cause you could loose one of these key cards, I think in general you can get them out more consistently. But I guess it depends on playstyle.

Mirror of Galadriel has always made me nervous. I don't like it without Silver Harp usually, although I guess Galadhrim Weaver would help out here. I've just never used Mirror without getting royally screwed by the discard effect.
