DECK NAME - If It Ain't Broke
OVERVIEW - Denethor, Thalin and Gondorian Spearman worked so well on Into the Pit, and they work great once again in The Seventh Level. Rather than Eowyn, Beravor works best as she is a great target for Book of Marzabul. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
HEROES
- Beravor - attach Book of Marzabul so she can quest without exhausting before using her action
- Denethor - attach 3X Protector of Lórien, Song of Kings, Song of Travel, Steward of Gondor, and 3X Unexpected Courage; use Denthor's action to try and bury the worst of the enemies such as Cave-troll
- Thalin - his ability plus Gondorian Spearman will destroy many an orc
STRATEGY
- Not much to say; just make progress each round and get ahead of the encounter deck using Denethor's action
- Erebor Hammersmith - great for taking blows from enemies that might get past direct damage
- Miner of the Iron Hills - save for Watchful Eyes condition
- Vassal of the Windlord - great target for Undisturbed Bones
- Swift Strike - pairs well with Thalin/Gondorian Spearman to destroy Chieftain of the Pit; also pairs well with Thalin and Sneak Attack/Gandalf for dealing with Cave-troll
