• If Resourceful has not been played yet...
  • Only spend resources in Frodo Baggins's response.
  • Stay in secrecy until finding some of them.
  • Use Pippin and Sméagol responses as "card draw" accelerators.
• Use Rivendell Minstrel to find songs:
  • Song of Travel
  • Tom Bombadillo!
• If Song of Travel is not in play, Sam Gamgee can be played via Timely Aid.
  • Booming Ent only can be played this way or via Treebeard's ability.
• Use Good Meal to play
  • Timely Aid for 2 cost (if secrecy cannot be applied; attach to Frodo).
  • Tom Bombadillo! for free (attach to Pippin).
  • The Galadhrim's Greeting for 1 cost (once Song of Travel is in play).
• Rosie Cotton provides more versatility than the Hobbit Cloak and her boost is unaffected by engagement costs.
  • Exhaust Rosie after staging step to boost Frodo/Pippin's
  • Exhaust Rosie after shadow cards are revealed to boost Frodo's
  • She's the perfect target for the Fast Hitch.
• Stinker can be avoided by The Master Ring.

Improvements:
