This is broken team allows to draw all your cards fast And get lots of resources whilst being to tank everything
Heroes
He is the sole reason this works. Equip him with Song of Travel (Narvi's Belt also works but not as well) and Song of Healing. Additionally if your wanting to tank 5 plus damage you will need HP attachments Ent Draught or Citadel Plate. Then when you draw Elven-light you can simply discard it, and recur it due to gloins passive
PUT simply
Gloin takes X damage then gains X resources.. heals by discarding elven light and playing it. Do this X times and each time you play elven light you also draw a card
His role is simple to make sure Gloin takes less damage early on before it is fully set up. also can make Elrond a very good defender if you have not yet set up.
He can play all you allies and make gloin heal more thus making you draw less but will make you retain gloins resources
Allies
The allies mainly help with attack or quest
Bree-land Protector helps with shadow cards. Erestor with card draw to set up
Attachments
Give gloin as many Citadel Plate you can get (max 2) and Ent Draught
Narvi's Belt allows gloin to pay for non allies/attachments (or heal in any 1 phase [probably combat ] by recurring Elven-light)
Half-pint allows you to get an attachment back to your hand, Such as bringing citadel plate back to hand. (very good if you have managed to equip narvis belt)
Gondorian Fire attach this to the guy with steward of gondor (and UC) to deal insane damage. your resources should be high as gloin pays for other cards.
Events
Most events are bog standard. A Stout Heart is another reason why gloin should take damage undefended. Reforged is another way of equipping citadel plate if narvis belt isn't an option.
Additionaly for multplayer simply remove 3 cards for Song of Mocking and for each one gloin equips he can save a player from taking any damage one phase(probably combat)

Jul 26, 2023Those are very good suggestions. Like Rivenhall minstrel.. to bad I published it ...anyway taking infinite damage and drawing your whole deck means some of these cards shod be nerfed |
Jul 26, 2023i think you should not nerf cards. this deck is not good for solo (not much questing power or locationcontrol) and in multi it is o.k. for a deck that can (with some efford) defend the whole table. it is not better than a good beregond-deck with shdowcancellation. yea the bereond-deck should not make infinitive defenses,but more better defenses from the start. |
Jul 26, 2023it has virtual infinite draw.. can draw my whole deck ( and has vast resource generation.... shadow cancelation... and can quest quite well early since all three can quest quite well... only problem is killing enemies. which allies can do if the come. (tho probably nothing for location control.) |
i would add Rivendell Minstrel to get the 2 important songs earlier. then i would consider Imladris Stargazer + Well-Equipped and-or King Under the Mountain
