I tweaked this deck a bit from the original posting. I dropped Beorn and added two Word of Command. I've found that getting Radagast's Staff on Radagast as quickly as possible (like on turn one) is important for questing, defending and even attacking until you can build up your board state. Once you've gotten several Eagles out, you're good on all fronts. 12/15/23 (later) I made a few more tweaks: I added one Gandalf and reduced Support of the Eagles.

Question: I've just played the quest: Journey to Rhosgobel. On the positive side, this deck was perfect to tackling that quest. But, and here's my question The ally Wiyador's card says that no more than 5 points can be healed at one time. If each of my characters had an Athelas, would I be able to heal a total of 15 or is it restricted to 5 period? If it's the latter, then how can one successfully complete the quest? Are there other means to heal a character with this deck that I'm missing? Thanks!

It is a total of 15: 5 per athelas. My guess is that when the quest card says to heal 5 for each athelas, the intention is that each athelas creates a different effect to get around Wilyador's restriction.
