Theme

Lothíriel has been adopted by the elven nobility - Celeborn & Galadriel - and raised as their own. Or just view this as a way to conceive her cool ability differently: as a catalyst to the Silvan bounce mechanic. Best played in a 2p with a heavy friend.

Pro's

  • A fun way to mix it up
  • Plenty card draw + a bag full of tricks
  • Serious questing power
  • Decent threat reduction & moderate starting threat
  • Great ally recursion (chump blocks big enemies well)

Con's

  • Lacking attacking power
  • Weak against shadow cards
  • Defensively greatly reliant on chump block (poor vs small enemies)
  • Fairly reliant on getting 1 copy of each attachment out

Pilot

Elf-friend is essential to start making music; you'll want to see 1 copy of the other attachments out asap to complete the band.

Lothíriel will drop in different Silvans & Noldors, depending on what you need: Galadriel's Handmaiden will be your go-to for a steady 3 (and -1) when the scenario allows it. Otherwise, the Bag o' Tricks includes healing, readying, card draw, resource gathering, etc.

Celeborn & Galadriel will bring out the usual swarm with bonuses and ready abilities. Be lavish: use the ally you bring in this round for questing and subsequently chump block with it if needed.

Celeborn's action can be used as needed, but with Fair and Perilous in hand he should be the one to slay the beast (give your friend the puppy eyes for a combat attachment).

Gambits

Orophin will bring your chump blockers/discards back from the dead. As such, do not play him from hand as you want him bounced in-and-out with Lothíriel regularly.

The real kicker: according to Seastan there is an action window right after quest resolution and just before quest phase end. That's the opportune moment to play The Tree People and bring the temporary ally from Lothíriel to your hand instead of being shuffled into your deck.

Use Protector of Lórien generously if you expect Lindir to help you replenish some cards.

Considerations

I tried to build this without the cliché Host of Galadhrim, though feel free to make room for it on tough quests. To combat nasty locations look to include a Steed of Imladris or two.
