Starting threat of 21 means discarding Folco on turn 1 in order to use secrecy cards (or Taking Initiative) right away. Getting down to 14 threat means potentially staying in secrecy for a few rounds.
In the opening hand Timely Aid is the main card of interest. A Very Good Tale is also a strong card at the opening since there are multiple ways to get out 2 allies on turn 1. Just under half the cards are allies, so statistically AVGT should bring out two allies each time. I am a sucker for Gandalf on turn 1 and might keep that as well. Strider and Steward of Gondor are always strong cards to start with as well. So basically there are a ton of fun cards to start with right away in this deck!
Fun and interesting deck! I played it and features it over on this blog: lotrdecktest.wordpress.com
Brave to go secrecy in mono-Leadership! Cool idea
